Updating and Setting Up JAF Box

Step 1: Downloading JAF Software

1. 1. Load firmware files – Click on "BB5" tab → "MCU File" (load .mcusw) → "PPM File" (load .ppm) → "CNT File" (load .cnt for content).
   2. Select phone model – Choose from the dropdown (e.g., RM-84 for Nokia 6630).
   3. Prepare phone – Insert a charged battery, turn off the phone, connect a compatible USB flashing cable (or FBus cable for DCT4).
   4. Select "Flash" – Click the "Flash" button. The software will prompt: "Press phone's Power button shortly". Do so.
   5. Wait – JAF will erase then write new UPD. Do not disconnect during the 5–10 minute process.
   6. Completion – You'll see Done, phone restarted. Unplug and test.

   Bypassing Errors: During installation, it is common to see driver or "Box not found" errors; these can generally be ignored or clicked through to finish the process.
