2. Hardware Prerequisites
- Controller: Raspberry Pi 4, NVIDIA Jetson Nano/Xavier, or similar.
- Motor Driver Hardware: UDA V5 compatible motor driver board (commonly STM32 or ESP32 based).
- Connection: UART (TX/RX), typically 3.3V logic. Do not connect 5V logic directly to 3.3V GPIO without a level shifter.
- Power: Ensure your motor driver has a separate power source; do not power high-torque motors via the CPU's 5V rail.
Step 4: Connect the Hardware
- Plug in your Uda V5-based debugger. The system will detect "Unknown Device".
- Open Device Manager.
- Look for "Other devices" → "Uda V5 Interface".
- Right-click > Update driver > Browse my computer > Let me pick.
- Select "Uda V5 USB Driver (v5.0.0.8)" from the list. Ignore the warning popup.
