1993: Genesis

The New Millennium & The Final Act (2001–2006): After a brief hiatus, the band returned with Cats and Dogs (2003) and finally 5th Angel (unofficial) before their swansong, 7 (2006). Listening to these final two discs in the repack is bittersweet. The production is modern, the riffs are aggressive, but there is a palpable sense of fatigue. The discography culminates in the 2006 live album Five Men Live (re-recorded with a different lineup), and the bonus material often includes the final studio recordings before Marcel Jacob’s tragic passing in 2009.
