The Scriptcase license registration and management process is primarily handled through the Serials tab on the official Scriptcase website and the Help > License Registration menu within the software. License Management & Registration
End of Life: If a specific version reaches the end of its product life cycle, you may be required to acquire a new license to move to the newest platform. 🧪 Trial and Support Scriptcase License
- You can only deploy to one live URL. If you have two different clients on two different servers, you need another license.
- No "Team" features—no simultaneous editing or version control integration.
Locating Serials: Log in to the Scriptcase website and navigate to the Serials tab to view your license numbers. Look for serials with an "Open" status for new registrations. Registration Process: You can only deploy to one live URL
- Download the Trial: Scriptcase offers a 14-day trial (full Enterprise features). Build your most complex grid. Test the runtime performance.
- Check your PHP version: Scriptcase generates code for PHP 7.4 to 8.2. Ensure your host supports it.
- Count your developers: Are you buying 1 license and sharing a computer? Don't. That violates the license agreement.
- Decide on Runtime: Do you need to deploy to "localhost" only, or to a public .com domain? Public domains often require a validated license key in the
sc_license file.
- Look for Coupons: Scriptcase rarely discounts, but they offer "Black Friday" and "New Year" sales (usually 20-30% off Perpetual licenses).
The Perpetual License
- How it works: You pay a higher upfront fee once.
- What you get: You own that version of the software forever. You can use it even if you never pay Scriptcase another dime.
- The catch: You only get 1 year of updates and support. After that, you keep the version you have, but you don't get new features or bug fixes.
