The Penny Pax training method offers a fun and rewarding approach to obedience training. By using positive reinforcement techniques and building a strong bond with your dog, you can teach them basic obedience commands and strengthen your relationship. Remember to keep training sessions short, be consistent, and make it fun! Penny Pax Training Report You should attempt this
Goal: Develop muscle memory and habits that prevent problems. Module 2: Customer Service Phase 3: Operational Drills
Most O-scalers treat problems reactively: a locomotive stutters, so they clean the wheels. Track has a dead spot, so they sand the rails. This whack-a-mole approach leads to frustration. Penny Pax training, by contrast, is proactive and systemic.
The Ritual: The trainee (you) must write a daily “Litany of Relinquishment” for 30 days. This is not a list of hard limits, but rather a declaration of the value of surrender. Example: “I relinquish the need to decide, not because I am weak, but because I trust the container of this training.”
Step 3: The Wax Barrier
After cleaning, apply a micro-thin layer of plain Johnson’s Paste Wax (or any hard carnauba-based floor wax) to a clean rag and buff the rails. This reduces arcing and prevents oxidation for weeks. Many modelers fear wax inhibits conductivity; in practice, the thin film is displaced by wheel pressure, and the reduction in spark erosion extends pickup life. One can of wax lasts a decade – $0.10 per application.
