On one hand, the Body Positivity (BoPo) movement advocates for unconditional self-acceptance, challenging thin-centric ideals and the moralization of body size. On the other hand, the Wellness Lifestyle—often commodified through detoxes, optimization, biohacking, and "clean eating"—can reinforce neoliberal norms of productivity, discipline, and bodily control. This paper argues that while BoPo and wellness appear antagonistic, their synthesis is possible through a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and a decolonized, pleasure-informed approach to well-being.
