Multiecuscan Elm327 — Port Settings 2021

Configuring your ELM327 interface for Multiecuscan (MES) ensures stable diagnostic connections for Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia vehicles. Standard settings in 2021 focus on reducing latency and matching the interface's baud rate to avoid "Connection Failed" errors. Windows Device Manager Settings

Go to Settings (or Options) and apply the following: multiecuscan elm327 port settings 2021

Access Settings: Open MultiECUScan and press F9 to enter the Settings menu. COM Port Number: Change this to COM1, COM2, COM3, or COM4

Check the colored adapters: MES requires specific alternate cables (Red, Yellow, Green, Purple) for different modules. Port settings are useless if you are trying to read an Airbag module via the standard OBD port without the Red adapter. multiecuscan elm327 port settings 2021
