- Momentary Mode: The door unlocks for a few seconds (usually 3-5 seconds) and then locks again. This is standard for magnetic locks and strike plates. The user must open the door immediately.
- Toggle Mode: The door unlocks and stays unlocked until the user swipes or enters a code again. This is useful for "Open House" days or settings where a door needs to remain open for extended periods.
- Time Delay: This allows you to adjust how long the lock stays open. If your users are complaining the door locks too fast, you need to extend the "Open Time" in the settings (usually found deep in the programming menu).
