Kuka Officelite Trial Install 〈2025-2026〉
KUKA.OfficeLite is a virtual robot controller that allows you to program and simulate KUKA robots on a standard PC without needing physical hardware. To set up a trial, you typically download the software via the my.KUKA Customer Portal or the official KUKA Download Center. Installation Prerequisites
- Register for a free account on KUKA Xpert (formerly KUKA College portal).
- Request a 30-day evaluation license key through your local KUKA sales partner or via the "Contact" form under the "Software & Tools" section.
- Alternatively, if you have access to a KUKA robot already, your integrator may provide the
.iso file for OfficeLite 4.x or 5.x.
- Log into my.KUKA.
- Navigate to Downloads > Software > Simulation & Offline Programming.
- Look for "OfficeLite Trial" (usually version 8.5, 8.6, or 8.7 for KRC4; or 4.0+ for Sunrise).
- Download the
.ova (Open Virtual Appliance) or .zip containing the VM image and a .lic license file.
- Increase the allocated RAM in VMware settings (ensure the VM is off first). Set it to at least 4GB, preferably 6GB or 8GB if your host PC has 16GB+.
- Ensure 3D graphics acceleration is enabled in the VM display settings if available, though OfficeLite relies more on CPU.
