Ir2153 Proteus Library !!better!! Download May 2026

IR2153 Self-Oscillating Half-Bridge Driver is not always included in the standard Proteus component database, you can add it by downloading a dedicated library. These libraries typically include the simulation model and PCB footprint. Where to Download the IR2153 Proteus Library

  1. Go to Infineon’s website and search for IR2153 SPICE model.
  2. Download the .CIR or .SUBCKT file.
  3. Open Proteus, place the IR2153 symbol.
  4. Right-click the component -> Edit Properties.
  5. Click "Add SPICE Model" -> "From File".
  6. Select the downloaded .CIR file.
  7. In the "Edit Subcircuit" window, ensure the pin mapping matches: (1=VCC, 2=GND, 3=RT, 4=CT, 5=LO, 6=VS, 7=HO, 8=VB).
  8. Click OK and simulate.

Typical download files include:

Extract the Files: You will typically find two or three file types: .LIB (Library), .IDX (Index), and sometimes .HEX or .MDF (Model/Data files). Locate the Proteus Library Folder: Ir2153 Proteus Library Download

Option B: Simulate in LTSpice or Tina-TI

Proteus is not the best tool for high-voltage power IC simulation. LTSpice (free) and Tina-TI (free) have official IR2153 models from Infineon/Texas Instruments. You can: Go to Infineon’s website and search for IR2153

No Simulation: If the device "has no model," it means you only have the schematic symbol. You must link it to a SPICE model as shown in Phase 3. Alternative Sources Typical download files include : Extract
