Epson WorkForce WF-2630 — Reset Guide

1) Soft reset (simple restart)

  1. Turn the printer off using the power button.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the printer and wall outlet.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer on.
  1. Press the Power button to turn the printer off.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  3. Disconnect the USB cable (if connected) and any Ethernet cable.
  4. Wait 60 seconds (minimum) to allow internal capacitors to discharge.
  5. Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds while the printer is unplugged (this drains residual charge).
  6. Reconnect only the power cord.
  7. Press the Power button to turn the printer on.

Open Setup: Press the Home button on the control panel, use the arrow buttons to select Setup, and press OK.

  • Turn on your printer: While holding the buttons, press the power button to turn on your printer.
  • Release the buttons: Release the buttons when the printer's lights start to flash.
  • Wait for the reset process: Wait for the printer to complete the reset process. This may take a few minutes.
