The UGREEN Bluetooth 5.3 adapter (typically model CM591 or 90225) is designed for a driverless "Plug & Play" experience on Windows 8.1, 10, and 11. However, older systems or specific hardware conflicts may require manual installation. 📥 Official Driver & Installation

  • Windows 10/11: When you plug the dongle into a USB port, Windows Connect will automatically search Windows Update for the generic Realtek driver. Within 30–60 seconds, it should be ready to pair devices.
  • Linux (Ubuntu/Mint/Arch): Support is generally native. The kernel usually picks up the Realtek chipset immediately without user intervention.
  • Plug the UGREEN Bluetooth 5.3 adapter into a USB 3.0 port (blue interior). Do not use a USB hub; plug directly into the motherboard or laptop.
  • Wait 10 seconds. Windows will try to install a generic driver. This will fail or show "Driver Error." That is fine.
