JSTorrent is a BitTorrent client that downloads torrent files with ease. It runs as a standalone desktop app on Windows, Mac, and Linux, as a native Android app, and as a Chrome extension paired with a companion app on ChromeOS. Originally built for ChromeOS over 10 years ago, JSTorrent has been rebuilt from the ground up as a multi-platform, open source project. All builds are produced by GitHub Actions CI and are code-signed — learn more.

DIALux evo 8.2 represents a significant milestone in the evolution of lighting design software, refining the balance between complex computational accuracy and intuitive user workflow. Released in 2019, this version solidified the software's position as a standard for three-dimensional (3D) Computer-aided design (CAD) lighting models used across single rooms, entire buildings, and urban landscapes. The architect provided a DWG of the classroom with existing window positions.
The designer imported the file, set the ceiling height at 2.8m (low, problematic).
Using the "Plug-in," they selected an anti-glare louvered LED panel (4000K, 3200lm).
The "Smart Copy" placed 12 panels in a 3x4 grid.
Result: Calculation showed 520 lx average, UGR 16, LPD 6.5 W/m².
The false-color visualization revealed the back corner was dark. They added one wall-washer via the "Single Luminaire" tool.
The report generated included photometric plans, pseudo-color images, and a binding energy certificate.
