7. Connecting and Downloading
Connection Methods
- USB: Most common for pCO5/6 and c.pCo. Uses a USB-A to USB-B cable.
- RS232 (Serial): Older legacy systems.
- Ethernet: Available on pCOWeb and newer c.pCo units. You can program over the local network.
The Download Process
- Connect the cable to the controller and PC.
- Turn on the controller power.
- In 1Tool, go to Online > Connect.
- Select the connection port (e.g.,
USB or COM1).
- Once connected, go to Online > Download.
