  • It assumes you remember Pre-Calculus. Chapter 1 is a rapid-fire review (trig identities, logs, exponentials). If you struggle there, stop and review Khan Academy before moving to Chapter 2. The book will not slow down for you.
  • The answers are limited. The back of the book only gives answers for odd-numbered problems. For even numbers, you need the Student Solutions Manual (sold separately) or WebAssign.
