Known for its compact design and the addition of a convenient micro USB charging port, this radio remains a "commercial-style" handheld, meaning it lacks a screen or keypad. • Baofeng T99 Plus CPS v1.xx
• Sometimes it is bundled as "Baofeng 5M" software (many T-series Baofengs share a base code).

1. Download Prolific Driver v3.2.0.0 (for older cables) or Silicon Labs CP210x Driver (for newer cables).
2. Unzip and run CP210xVCPInstaller_x64.exe (Run as Administrator).
3. Do not plug the cable in yet.

Step 3: Install the BF-T99 Plus CPS

1. Right-click the software installer → Run as Administrator.
2. Accept the default directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Baofeng\BF-T99 Plus).
3. Complete the installation. Do not launch the software yet.
